The AXM Experience at a Glance
1. Create Account → 2. Upload Inventory → 3. Listing Approved → 4. Sell → 5. Ship → 6. Buyer Confirms → 7. Payment
Step 1 — Create an Account
As a seller, you will first need to create an individual or business account. Easy to follow
instructions will include details, such as
- Contact information – name, physical address, email address
- Tax information (EIN or social security number required for annual sales of $600 or more.)
- Bank account details
Step 2 — Upload Vehicle Information
After you receive confirmation that your account is set up, you can upload information about your vehicle(s).
- Vehicle details (VIN, year, make, model, trim)
- Asking price or “Buy Now” price
- High-resolution photos (interior, exterior, undercarriage, VIN plate)
- Optional videos and walk-around footage
- Maintenance history (if available)
AXM automatically enhances listings with:
- Carfax vehicle history reports
- Market-based pricing insights from recent AXM sales
- Comparable vehicle pricing transparency (what similar vehicles actually sold for)
To build trust and reduce post-sale disputes, AXM offers multiple optional inspection
information:
- Third party inspections can be ordered and uploaded directly to your listing.
- Repair shop inspections can be uploaded for an additional layer of confidence for the buyer.
- Detailed media standards can be added, such as:
- Close-ups of wear, damage, or modifications
- Engine bay and undercarriage photos
- Interior condition documentation
If you would like to sell many vehicles at one time, you can use a CSV file for a bulk
upload.
Step 3 — Listing Approved
After you have submitted a listing, AXM will review it. Once the information is verified and approved, your listing will be live on your shop page. The approval process can take up to 48 hours.
Once a listing is approved, it will be available in your store for a certain amount of time – a week, month, or longer. You will receive an email when a listing expires. At this time, you can renew it or delete it.
Step 4 — Sell
AXM supports flexible deal structures beyond a simple cash purchase. AXM will send you an email notifying you when you receive an offer.
Sellers can:
- Accept, counter, or decline offers
- Review buyer profiles and offer terms
- Compare offers against current market data
All activity is tracked and visible to ensure there are no back-door deals or no confusion. Vehicle transactions on AXM are securely processed through KeySavvy, a trusted third-party escrow and payment service designed specifically for vehicle transactions. This protects sellers from chargebacks or non-payment. Both buyers and sellers are protected from title and payment risk.
Step 5 — Ship or Pick-Up Vehicle
Once a vehicle is sold, sellers and buyers choose the most convenient delivery method:
Nationwide Shipping via AXM Partner, ACERTUS
AXM integrates live vehicle transport pricing through ACERTUS.
ACERTUS offers:
- Real-time, transparent shipping quotes
- Door-to-door vehicle transport
- Professional carrier network
- Tracking and delivery coordination
- Shipping can be arranged directly during checkout, so there is no third-party scrambling.
Local Pickup
- Seller and buyer can arrange a direct pick-up
- Ideal for local or regional transactions
Step 6 — Buyer Confirms
Once the vehicle is delivered, the buyer confirms receipt and any further required verification steps are completed.
Step 7 — Payment
Once the vehicle is received and confirmed, escrow is released to the seller within 24 hours. Payment automatically appears in your bank account.
AXM records the transaction to improve future market pricing accuracy and increase buyer and seller trust scores.
